These artists transform the long path of artists working directly with the human body into contemporary concerns about the world itself, with a basis of direct body interventions but turned now to new use.
Questions arise about cultural place, identity, sexual politics and inequality, social portraiture using the human figure as a metaphor and carrier made live and its simulacra of a live record as video representation.
